Scientific Programme

The SOE 2027 Congress will deliver an exciting three-day scientific programme, bringing together leading ophthalmologists, researchers and healthcare professionals from across Europe and around the world in the historic city of Athens, Greece.

Covering the full spectrum of ophthalmology, the programme will feature keynote and named lectures, scientific symposia, mystery cases, rapid-fire and abstract presentations, alongside dedicated sessions for Young Ophthalmologists and Allied Health Professionals.

A key feature of the programme will be a wide range of sessions developed in collaboration with leading international and European ophthalmic subspecialty societies, bringing together experts in their respective fields to share the latest advances, best practice and emerging innovations. In this joint congress with the International Society of Ocular Trauma (ISOT), SOE 2027 will provide three packed days of education, discussion, collaboration and opportunities to connect with colleagues from across the ophthalmic community in one of Europe’s most historic and inspiring cities.
